Tacoma - A Space Adventure Game
Tacoma is a fascinating indie adventure game developed by Fullbright. The game is set in the year 2088, where corporations have established an economy promoting loyalty to a select corporation. The game takes place on the Tacoma space station, which is a transit hub between Earth and a resort built upon the Moon. The players control Amy Ferrier, who is hired by the corporation that operates the station to investigate a mysterious chain of events that occurred on the station and to retrieve a processing module from the station's artificial intelligence.
The gameplay of Tacoma is focused on exploring the in-game world. The game has no enemies, and players can focus on the narrative aspect of it. Players can use an augmented reality device found on the station to access its security footage and recreate the events that happened here. They can manipulate the footage like a recording, fast-forwarding it, pausing and rewinding. Players can see the characters move from room to room, or in some cases, follow their path. The game's puzzles are one of the main aspects, and players will spend most of their time solving them. Tacoma offers an immersive experience to players who love space adventure games and enjoy solving puzzles.
